Ms. Karen L. Shaw - Member
Ms. Shaw has been a resident of the district and its surrounding areas for 32 years. All 5 of her children attended Lowell Joint Schools including, Meadow Green and Jordan Elementary as well as Rancho Starbuck Intermediate. She has 12 grandchildren, seven of whom live in La Habra. Four of them attend schools in the Lowell Joint School District.
Ms. Shaw graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and taught English as a Second Language for 23 years. She has also worked in the educational publishing field as a representative and trainer for 20 years.
