Safe Modern Schools - Measure LL

Update:  Thank you to all who support measured LL.  Thanks to you, this important Measure was passed!  We thank every one of you for your support in getting the upgrades our schools so desperately need.  We look forward to providing updates to the progress of our schools in the future.

The Lowell Joint School District (LJSD) is committed to providing students with a well balanced educational program that nurtures academic growth in a safe, modern environment.  All LJSD schools are California Distinguished Schools with collective test scores well above the county and state averages.  Our schools empower students to achieve success and expand learning beyond the walls of the classroom.  We know our good schools improve the quality of life in our community and protect the value of our homes.

All of our schools were built more than 50 years ago and desperately need repairs and upgrades.  Our students deserve to have the same educational opportunities as others in the region.  It's time to make essential repairs and upgrades to the schools, facilities and classroom technology in our beloved century old district so we can serve our students and community well for decades to come.

In order to make essential repairs and upgrades to our neighborhood schools, the Lowell Joint School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to place Measure LL, a $48 million local bond measure, on the November 2018 ballot.  Find out more information about Measure LL projects, fiscal accountability and frequently asked questions in the links below.
