Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide comprehensive and inclusive counseling and support staff services that empower and support the academic, personal, social, and emotional development of all students in Lowell Joint School District (Preschool - 8th grade). We are dedicated to providing a comprehensive counseling program that encompasses individual and group counseling, classroom guidance, and preventive interventions. Through a collaborative and student-centered approach, we aim to foster a positive and nurturing environment that promotes self-awareness, resilience/GRIT, and a lifelong love of learning. Our dedicated team of counselors, psychologists and support staff strives to cultivate strong relationships with students, families, staff and the community; while embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion ensuring that every student feels seen, heard, and valued. We understand the power and responsibility of counseling to transform lives and contribute to the overall success and well-being of our students and we do so in alignment with our Lowell Joint Core Values and Guiding Goals.
