About C.A.R.E.
The Lowell Joint C.A.R.E. program is a 2023 Golden Bell Award Winner. C.A.R.E. (Counseling and Resource Enhancement) was developed knowing the challenges students face on a daily basis, especially in light of our recent pandemic and society's challenges, which makes it imperative that we connect to meet not only to support students' academic growth but also their social emotional growth and wellness. The #1 goal is to connect person-to-person and heart-to-heart, as we seek to meet the academic and social emotional needs for all students throughout our district's six schools.
The C.A.R.E. team is focused on supporting all students. The C.A.R.E. program ensures that every school has additional psychologists and/or counseling interns to provide the crucial targeted/personal support our students need to reach their highest potential.
