Ms. Karen L. Shaw - Member
Karen Shaw is a Member of the Board of Trustees and represents Trustee Area 4. She is a great addition to the Lowell Family and has been a resident of the district and its surrounding areas for 32 years. All 5 of her children attended Lowell Joint Schools including, Meadow Green and Jordan Elementary as well as Rancho Starbuck Intermediate. She currently has 12 grandchildren and 7 live within the Lowell district with 4 attending El Portal Elementary.
Ms. Shaw graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and taught English as a Second Language for 23 years. She has also worked in the educational publishing field as a representative and trainer for 20 years.
Ms. Karen Shaw’s current term expires November 2026.
